We are the Riverdale Baptist School Visual and Performing Arts Drama department located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Our school has a rich history of dramatic productions and we strive to keep the excellence of the arts on stage going! Our drama department consists of middle and high school students. On rare occasions we will open up our productions to our elementary (as have been featured in Willy Wonka, The Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan Jr.)

We strive to do at least three shows a year. You can check out our past shows at the bottom of our homepage! Some years we will have a middle school production, high school production and combined production, and others all the shows will be combined. 

One of our favorite shows that began in 2022 is our combined show of Give Me Jesus. It is a free show, and it’s one the group builds together by selecting different skits to present to our audience. We hope it stays an annual show.

We also added a show in 2025 called RBS Presents… which is an all-school talent show and we hope to keep that for many years to come as well!

In all that we do, we pray our acting, singing, dancing and attitudes bring all glory to God. He has blessed us with so many talents and we want to use those talents to represent not only ourselves, our director and our school but also our Lord Jesus Christ and honor Him with all that we have!
